You are so much lower priced than others. What's the difference?
Honestly, the only difference between us and other rentals is that we offer the same river and floats for less money. Our river is clean and crystal clear. The Little River is a tubers' paradise! We
keep our prices low because we firmly believe tubing should
be enjoyed by everyone.
Are there any age or weight restrictions?
Anyone over 3 yrs old may go tubing. Anyone under age 13, must be accompanied by an adult. There is no weight restriction, but keep in mind that some places on the River are very shallow and physical exertion may be required.
What are your hours?
We are open from 10am to 7pm daily. Our season typically runs April through September.
Can you tube in the rain?
Tubing in a light rain is possible. In a moderate or steady rain, where the river level might rise quickly, we may not allow tubing. Of course, tubing during lightning storms is out of the question. Please call us for weather conditions.
Is it safe?
Safety is our #1 priority! All guests receive custom fitted Coast Guard approved life jackets. Our tubes are custom made of 3 sizes and specifically designed for tubing the Little River. All staff are familiar with the river, and all of our shuttle drivers are licensed and insured. All our shuttle vans are state inspected and certified. We are Townsends' premier outfitter, and our experience and safety record is exemplary.
Are there any rapids?
You will be tubing on the Little River ( not the Little Pigeon River) in Townsend, TN. In fact, the parts you will be on are flowing directly from protected Great Smoky Mountians National Park land! Rapids are not frequent and the float IS SAFE. According to The American Whitewater Rating System, these rapids are considered Class II, and are very small (Class I for flat water).
How much does it cost?
As of now the prices are still rock bottom at $9/ for ALL DAY. However...Prices are subject to... LOWERING!!! Remember call us for special group pricing!
Do I need to make a reservation ?
